Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. Her childhood was spent listening to classical and old boleros, as well as classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana loves tangos, operas and other dramatic performances. She was taught by her mother to sing. However, she started more intense training in vocals through Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. he was a renowned Mexican opera Tenor. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. While a young student and professional, she was a part of various chamber groups as well as opera choruses throughout Guadalajara and Mexico City. Following her move into the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her residence in southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo of classical Latin American music at private events. As a musician and teacher Ana is a dedicated participant in numerous community projects because of her love and passion for music. Ana was a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher at the Performance Loft. Ana hopes that by sharing her knowledge her love of Latin American traditional songs, to instill a passion, particularly in the younger generations to keep this tradition alive.
